"Katadyn Hiker" Test in Flowing Water
The ability to make clean drinking water out of naturally found water is a necessary tool in the backcountry. Katadyn makes a series of water filtering system, but arguably their most popular is the Hiker (and the Hiker Pro). It's a high quality polymer frame, with an inlet tube (for dirty water), a pump housing where you physically pump the water, and an outlet tube (for clean water) which you put in your water bottle, OR it also has adapters for certain water systems like Camelbak's.
